A huge shout-out to the Malaysia Stroke Council for their outstanding efforts in organising the Stroke Awareness Fun Run that took place at Taman Tasik Cheras, a beautiful urban park in Kuala Lumpur, on Sunday 30 กรกฎาคม 2566. The Deputy Minister of Health, Mr Lukanisman bin Awang Sauni, supported this event as the esteemed guest of honour, showing the government’s commitment in raising awareness of stroke.
The highlight of the day was undoubtedly our adorable FAST Heroes mascots! It was heartwarming to see the mascots engaging with the public, spreading joy, and creating wonderful moments of interaction. Families, friends, and children who visited the park stopped by to pose for pictures with the beloved FAST Heroes characters.
As participants jogged and walked along the picturesque trails of Taman Tasik Cheras, they encountered informative signboards about stroke prevention and recognition. It was heartening to witness everyone taking a moment to read and absorb this crucial knowledge. Empowering the public with information about stroke is a vital step towards a healthier community.
We are truly blessed being part of this awareness campaign! We hope with more collaboration with the Malaysia Stroke Council and National Stroke Association of Malaysia (NASAM), we can do more to transform lives for generations.
